With the final chapter in the 2010 British Superbike Championship about to be written, Tommy Hill of Worx Crescent Suzuki will be heading into the final round with an 11-point lead over his competition. Oulton park in Cheshire will be the stage for one of the most important races of Hill’s racing career. The final three races of the British Superbike Championship over the coming weekend Oulton Park will be the determining factor of Hill being the champion of BSB for 2010.

The weekend programme has undergone some slight alterations to make room for the BSB triple-header of racing action. The Oulton Park event will begin with free practice on Friday, which will be followed by qualifying at mid-day on Saturday, with the opening race of the triple-header event beginning at 4:30pm. The Sunday afternoon programme will feature the final two races of the championship.
The point standings for the British Superbike Championship going into the final three races are: Tommy Hill of Worx Crescent Suzuki with 589-points, Josh Brookes of HM Plant Honda with 578-points, Ryuichi Kiyonari of HM Plant Honda with 574-points, Michael Laverty of Relentless Suzuki by TAS with 570-points, Michael Rutter of Ridersmotorcycles.com Ducati with 546-points and Alastair Seeley of Relentless Suzuki by TAS with 529 points.
