Tommy Hill to sit 2013 out

Monday, November 12 2012

Tommy Hill, Swan Yamaha’s 2011 British Superbike champion, has made the decision to take a break during the 2013 season in order to spend some time reassessing his options for the future. Tommy released a statement, stating that one of the reasons behind his decision to take a break is down to his failure to gain a seat at Word Superbike level for 2013 and that he hopes to be able to move forward from British Superbikes in the future. He did say that no matter what, he would like to remain in racing;

‘I really hope I can keep involved in the sport throughout 2013, either with a Championship, or manufacturer, passing my knowledge over, or doing some track-days and see what can potentially happen in 2014.’
