The second day of testing gets underway today for the Fixi Crescent Suzuki team, when riders Leon Camier and Jules Cluzel hit the track in Almeria ahead of the World Superbike Championship.
Yesterday’s primary session saw the duo focus on their Suzuki GSX-R’s updated electronics, aerodynamics and brand new-spec engine. They managed to complete plenty of laps between them, with Cluzel debuting for the team aboard the superbike.
Today sees them complete their second day, with the focus on more laps and understanding of the machine. Speaking at the end of Thursday’s session, Jules said he was pleased with how things went;
‘It’s been a good day and we got through a lot of work and checked most things out -which is a major part of these shakedown tests…We still have a lot to do tomorrow and will continue in the same way as we have today.’
