Sixty percent of the total attendance at the celebration was made up of Italian Ducatisti, while the remaining Ducati fans came from 28 nations and from five continents, which underscores the international popularity of the Ducati brand. Ducati owners from the United States, Europe, Australia, Russia and India joined together with Ducati owners from Brazil, Malaysia, China, Nepal and Gabon in a celebration of their ardour and devotion to the Ducati name.

The four sun filled days of Ducati celebration reached their peak on Saturday, the 12th of June when the event reached a spectacular climax in a knock-out drag race event that included Ducati Moto GP and Superbike team racers mounted upon asphalt-ripping Ducati Streetfighter bikes. The racers, as is their usual practice, put on an awesome display of motorcycling from the time that they exited the pit garages, entertaining the Ducati enthusiasts that lined Misano’s terraces.

Noriyuki Haga, World Superbike Ducati Xerox team racer was the winner of the final race as he came in just fractions of a second in front of former MotoGP Champion and Ducati Moto GP Team racer Nicky Hayden.
