The Worx Crescent Suzuki team will be going to Mallory Park on the weekend for round five of the 2010 British Superbike Championship. Worx Crescent Suzuki rider Tommy Hill has set the pace this season, at Mallory Park he will be trying to hold on to his 36 point lead. The Worx team has been busy over the five-week break since the last outing at Cadwell Park; the team has been labouring on machine set-up, trying to help the GSX-R1000 have an even greater degree of prowess out on the asphalt.

Yukio Kagayama will be returning to the championship after having to sit out the last round with two fractured vertebrae that he sustained in a crash during the first race at the Oulton Park event. During the break, Kagayama went back to Japan, and after having more scans of his injury, the surgeons gave a good report saying that the fractures have stabilized and have mended well, well enough to have Kagayama back on the track at Mallory Park. At the team’s test at Mallory Park, Kagayama was able to mount his bike and take some preparatory laps for the upcoming race.
