In race number one Biaggi had to take second place to Jonathan Rea of Hannspree Ten Kate Honda who has seen some tough races as of late. In fact, Rea’s last podium was back in May at Kyalami. With Rea finishing first, and Biaggi following in second, it was Cal Crutchlow of the Yamaha Sterilgarda Team coming in with a third place finish, as Sylvain Guintoli of Team Suzuki Alstare finished in fourth place of the opening race of the World Superbike Championship at Brno.
The second race at Brno saw Biaggi taking first place, with Rea, the winner of the first contest coming in second place, followed by Michel Fabrizio of the Ducati Xerox Team in third place, with James Toseland of the Yamaha Sterilgarda team coming in fourth place. The first place finish in the second race at Brno was Biaggi’s ninth win of the 2010 season, which gives him a 50 per cent win ratio at this point of the 2010 season.
