Carl Fogarty legendary Ducati racer and four times winner of the World Superbike Championship was the special honoured guest at the official launch of the new Ducati franchise over the weekend of May 15th and 16th at the Sheffield Motorcycle Centre.

The Sheffield Motorcycle Centre as of lately has added the Ducati franchise to their business, to celebrate their alliance with Ducati they invited the World Superbike superstar Carl Fogarty to be the honoured guest on Saturday, May 15th.
Sheffield Motorcycle Centre is the latest edition to the Ducati family in the United Kingdom and takes pride in adding a premium motorcycle such as Ducati to their range of motorcycles. The special celebration gave Sheffield the opportunity to present the newest offerings from Ducati, and some rare and exotic Ducati cycles as well.
Even though Fogarty has not raced since an injury forced him into retirement in 2000, the Ducati bike continues racing on in the World Superbike competitions. The racers currently racing on Ducati bikes are Carlos Chea, Michel Fabrizio, Noriyuki Haga, Shane Byrne, Jakub Smrz, Lorenzo Lanzi and Luca Scassa. According to Worldsbk.com, Ducati is in third place in the manufactures standings with 185 points.
