Friday saw the grand finale of the Wrooom 2013 meeting in Italy, and in order to celebrate the stunning Dolomite mountain range which played host to the event, Ducati used the final session to unveil a special edition of its Multistrada 1200. With the Pikes Peak sports model as a base, the bike was transformed into the Dolomites’ Peak version (see picture). Though the bike is set to stay as a one off, it’s unique livery has attracted a lot of attention from adoring fans!
On the day, the riders of MotoGP took part in snowboarding and karting events, which gave Andrea Dovizioso the opportunity to show off his prowess on the slopes! He dominated proceedings, finishing ahead of his team manager, Vittoriani Guareschi.
Now that the team has enjoyed Wrooom, its time for them to look forward to the beginning of testing at Sepang in February and Jerez in March. After that they will be prepared for the main event; the season opener in Qatar on April 7th.
