Great performance with no electronic gimmicks, handles, brakes and goes with usual Honda effectiveness. Finish is poor by Honda's standards, furring nuts and bolts and the norm. Starts on the button every time and has loads of power, consistently returns 53 to 56MPG giving a tank range of 150 to 160 before the light comes on.

I had a quick shifter and power commander system fitted. All works brilliantly. The only thing I´d say is ´- but perhaps this was to be expected - it´s quite a thirsty bike, when compared, for example, with the 2012 fireblade. But I´m still happy to have bought it. As I´m quite advanced in my years - tragically, late 60s - the fact that i find it comfortable and have done several trips of over 200 miles on it - should be of some significance.

Since owning this little bad boy all that has been done to it is the suspension set up for me and a change of tyres from qualifier 2 wthat came with the bike to conti evo road attack 2 evo. This machine is ideal for the road and handles beautifully with a wet weight of 200kg. The fuel consumption is not to bad for a litre class sports bike with the on board computer giving real real time fuel consumption and an average per tank. I've seen 195miles per tank thats using the reserve heavily and having to fill it with 17 ltrs So I reckon I could have had another 10 miles out of it before it died. I give it a 9 outa 10. I do love this bike.
