I am 66 years old,and been biking for nearly 50 years, but only on MZ and CZ 250 and 150 cc's.I wanted a modern bike with electric start(a first for me),not too heavy, reliable to enjoy a few more rides around our countryside. The ER5 had good reviews as a "first big bike",as a training bike and a good overall ride without extremes. It has certainly filled the bill for me,I am very pleased with my immaculate, low mileage example.

SO FAR IN THE YEAR THAT I HAVE HAD IT ALL I HAVE DONE IS CHANGE THE OIL AND COOLANT. IT FLEW THROUGH THE MOT AND I WOULD HAVE ANOTHER WITHOUT ANY HESITATION.
