Why Choose a KTM Motorbike?

KTM is an Austrian manufacturer whose roots lie in producing high quality off-road motorbikes.

That trend continues to this day, but the famous orange brand has also started producing some brilliant road bikes to accompany its off-road prowess.

The KTM model line up

Coming from an off-road racing background, the brand is unsurprisingly dominated by supermoto and enduro models but even its naked, adventure and supersport models show signs of KTM’s off-road origins.

As well as the brand’s iconic orange paintjob across all of its models, naked styling and big front forks also run throughout the range.

All in all, the design, livery and styling of the KTM range gives it a dynamic and aggressive appeal, particularly among younger riders.

Iv'e had road bikes and trials bikes but they don't hold a candle to the Duke, so much more than a bike. Wish id got one sooner. Only downer it could do with a sixth gear for those longer trips. But apart from that I wouldn't change a thing.

I purchased a Ducati Monster 797 at first, hoping to have concentrated lessons to pass my test. I found I was very rusty, because when I was younger I only had a provisional license.
So I then purchased a KTM 125 Duke, it was between this and an Aprilia Tuono 125.
The KTM worked out a little cheaper and I was able to buy it with 0% finance. I have just
done about 500miles waiting eagerly for the fist service ( it is limited to 7250 rpm running it in) I feel it is a very cool looking bike and has wider rear tyres than the completion, so you
think it should be more sure footed on the road. I also like reading about the motorcycle
reviews that rate it the best in the class. Because I am over 6 foot I also looked at the frame/seat height which also gives the impression of a larger bike. Based on all these experiences I would consider the 390 duke next because it would be a useful step up, and
are surprised that more manufactures do not produce a premium bike this size. So summing up based on my experience so far I could recommend the KTM125 Duke for young or older riders.
