Why Choose a Peugeot Motorbike?

Peugeot is a famous name in the motor industry and despite its two-wheelers being slightly less famous than its four-wheelers, it’s still a big player in the UK and European market.

Where did it start for Peugeot

For more than 150 years, Peugeot has been developing and building all manner of machines, from sewing machines to coffee grinders, bicycles and cars.

Obviously we’re more interested in Peugeot’s mopeds and scooters, where the Lion brand has generated quite a following.

The French manufacturer built its first two-wheeler in 1898 and now, with the help of Honda who owns a 25 per cent stake in the company, it has a wide range of stylish scooters and mopeds.

What Peugeot models stand out?

Over the last decade, the entry-level 50cc Ludix Scooter has been one of the manufacturer’s most popular models, along with the Blaster RS12, a bike with a reputation as the fastest accelerating 50CC on the market.

Current Peugeot bikes range from the base range 50cc V-Clic all the way up to the 500cc on the Satelis models.

With The Bike Insurer you can compare insurance quotes whatever your Peugeot you own but if you don’t own one of the French manufacturer’s famous models, you can read our owner reviews to see what it’s really like to ride a Peugeot day-in and day-out.

If you want to spend more money on services than fuel then for it to brake down engine seized completely. Peugeot warranty claim ha ha what a joke first they say I hadn't had first service I had proved that with invoice next they say no oil I had checked it 15km before .Still will not fix it and to find out that they use cheap Chinese engine in them .So I would avoid Peugeot completely now after being a owner twice before .now this brand and customer service is unacceptable .

The last scooter I owned was a 2 stroke Vespa 125 with 3 gears. Its acceleration was slow and it had a top speed of about 50mph if conditions were right. Compared to that this bike is much more powerful in acceleration and has a top speed of 65 to 70 depending on the conditions. It easily cruises at 60 - 65 and keeps up with inside lane motorway traffic. The mpg appears to be around 85.
The Django is fun to drive, feels sturdy and corners well with good strong brakes. With a pillion the bike is still steady and responsive.

Far to unreliable, but if you spend an Wful lot of time caring for her, then ok.But cover your bike if rains,it gets in battery and engine. Far to unreliable, but if you spend an Wful lot of time caring for her, then ok.But cover your bike if rains,it gets in battery and engine.
