Why Choose a Triumph Motorbike?

Triumph is one of few remaining British manufacturers but it’s still one of the bestselling manufacturers on home soil.

And that’s echoed on The Bike Insurer where almost five per cent of all quote requests are for the leading British brand.

The Triumph line-up

The reason Triumph has outlasted some of its UK counterparts is its impressive line-up of powerful bikes.

You will not see a Triumph scooter and its range is dominated by large-capacity Sport, Adventure and Roadster models including the Daytona, Tiger and Triple monikers.

However Triumph’s most famous model is probably the Bonneville, a classic motorbike with typical retro styling and a plethora of famous owners, including Evel Knievel.

So whether you’re looking to insure one of the Tiger 800 models, a powerful Daytona 675 or the brilliant 1050cc Speed Triple, The Bike Insurer can help you.

This was 53 955i version I had for two years. The only issue I had was, like so many, the charging system failed and left me stranded. A direct shunt to the battery fixed that and the bike never let me down again. I'd say it's more sporty than tourer because of it's power distribution. Second gear was always my favorite although I found I was hitting the rev limiter a lot in second. The ride is very comfortable and handling is good enough for a fun fest round the twisties but the zx's and gix's will make you work very hard to keep up. Build quality is spot on though being an all year round rider like myself the front forks suffer a bit of pitting. Small price to pay though. Before the sprint I had a Bandit 1200S K3 which was a bit of an animal. I was a bit disappointed at first when I got on the Sprint but that was simply because I didn't know how to ride it. Once I recognized the quality of this tripple motor it did everything but disappoint.

I was very tempted to get the newer shape Sprint as a next bike but the sporty part of me wanted a GSXR 1000 so that's what I have. Love it to bits but the Triumph will always be a part of my riding experience and the memory's are good ones.

I wanted a go anywhere lighter bike as my European plans seemed thwarted so a bike that can navigate the morning commute, tour or a run out at weekends. Winter has hit so Iam still running this in but getting to grips with it, changed the headlight bulbs as find them naff, the rereread mid guard if useless and sprays up the numberplate and top box so again after market parts to rectify this, Iam doing my own spot light configuration as £370•00 is mindless money. The bike itself has a good review but I haven't been far enough yet to compliment or condemn but light and quick yes.
