Why choose Triumph?

Triumph is one of few remaining British manufacturers but it’s still one of the bestselling manufacturers on home soil.

And that’s echoed on The Bike Insurer where almost five per cent of all quote requests are for the leading British brand.

The Triumph line-up

The reason Triumph has outlasted some of its UK counterparts is its impressive line-up of powerful bikes.

You will not see a Triumph scooter and its range is dominated by large-capacity Sport, Adventure and Roadster models including the Daytona, Tiger and Triple monikers.

However Triumph’s most famous model is probably the Bonneville, a classic motorbike with typical retro styling and a plethora of famous owners, including Evel Knievel.

So whether you’re looking to insure one of the Tiger 800 models, a powerful Daytona 675 or the brilliant 1050cc Speed Triple, The Bike Insurer can help you.

Triumph insurance quotes

The Bike Insurer has a wide and varied panel of specialist insurance brokers, so regardless of the model or style of bike you’re looking to insure, we will be able to help.

We’ve also collected lots of different reviews from real bikers about their Triumph motorbikes.

That means that as well as getting the best Triumph insurance prices on The Bike Insurer, you’ll also be able to get a real insight and honest reviews about what life is like owning a Triumph.

I'm very happy with the bike and have covered over a 1000 miles. But as the last 3 mot certificates show mileage increases of 120, 90 and 80 miles, problems through lack of use have become apparent. These aren't major, but buyers of older low mileage bikes should be aware.
I find the bike comfortable and easy to ride.
The engine has plenty of torque and the suspension very predictable.
I enjoy riding it and would recommend this bike as a very capable tourer.

Power feels about the same as my previous bike (1250 Bandit) but torque is spread wider and higher. Notably less than the later 1050 version, though much of this, I think, is down to the much sharper throttle response on the 1050.
The bike is old (1999) but low mileage (17000) and runs well. Its real world quick, very economical and handles well. At just over £1000 plus new battery and MOT it represents outstanding value. Brakes are excellent and comfort, despite the sportyish riding position, is reasonable.
Downsides are heavy throttle (single cable, heavy return spring) and clutch, but still manageable. Worse is the handlebar vibration which is intrusive enough to have me wringing my right hand after just 10 minutes of riding. Unless I can fix this it would be a deal breaker.
