2016 Herts Auto Show bigger and better than ever

Modified classic scooter on display at the 2016 Herts Auto Show

This weekend saw the fourth edition of the Herts Auto Show take place at a sun-bathed Stanborough Park.

Well over 2,000 motorbikes, trikes, cars and vans pitched up to give the public lots to sink their teeth into.

The Bike Insurer was the main sponsor and attended the show. Dave Jackson, Social Media & Events Manager, said:

“The 2016 Herts Auto Show couldn’t have gone better as far as we’re concerned.

“The weather definitely played its part but it was down to the sheer volume and calibre of exhibitors who turned up on the day that made the show so good.”

Dan Drayton, European Junior Cup rider, and his 2015 Honda CBR 650F race bike made the trip down from Scunthorpe and received lots of attention, especially from the youngsters at the show.

With Dan’s bike gaining so much attention, it was easy to miss some of the other brilliant bikes on display but there were some superb classics on display.

Particularly two Ducatis and a Triumph Bonneville that claimed the Best In Show award from motorcycle racing legend, Steve Parrish.

Here are some of our favourite bike images from the day
