Motorcycle Live pulls in the crowds

For nine days of the year, focus in the motorbike industry turns to Birmingham and the NEC, in the UK at least.

That’s because Motorcycle Live takes place with a range of manufacturers and companies displaying their wares in the cavernous halls of the exhibition centre.

The Bike Insurer was there this time round with brand ambassador, Steve Parrish, hosting the event from the Blackhorse Stage.

With a mix of celebs, pro riders and a range of manufacturers (from the largest to the smallest), Motorcycle Live presents a brilliant opportunity to get up close and personal with the latest models and the biggest names.

The headlines are undoubtedly claimed by the big name manufacturers however the show also gives the media and public the opportunity to see what’s going on at the other end of the scale with some of the more niche names and products in motorcycling.

While most of the major model launches took place at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan earlier this month, Motorcycle Live is the first place to see models like the Ducati 1299 Multistrada and the Honda RC213V-S on British soil.

Motorcycle Live is at the Birmingham NEC until Sunday 30 November.
