Pricing for the BMW R nineT Scrambler has been revealed by the German manufacturer.

The Scrambler is priced from £10,530, coming in around £1,400 cheaper than the Roadster model.

The Roadster has been on sale in the UK since 2014 and impressive sales convinced BMW Motorrad to build a Scrambler version.

It’s a stunning retro-inspired model that will go on sale on 17 September in Europe.

Like most retro-styled bikes, the R nineT Scrambler comes with lots of customisable options for owners.

And like all classic Scrambler models, there’s an upright seating position, exposed front forks and round front headlight.

Between your legs there’s a 110hp boxer engine that crucially meets new Euro4 standards and hits a max torque of 116Nm at 6,000rpm.

How does it compare to its competitors?

At £10,530, the BMW R nineT Scrambler isn’t cheap with Ducati Scrambler prices starting from £6,895.

Pricing for the Triumph Scrambler kicks off at £7,899 and sits in between the two.

By far and away, the BMW is markedly more expensive than its competitors but if it gets anywhere near as much interest as the standard R nineT, pricing shouldn’t stop sales.
