BMW has revealed prices for the 2015 S 1000 RR.

The supersport model will go on sale from 7 February with prices starting from £13,700.

Sport versions are more expensive again with prices starting from £14,760 for a model that adds Dynamic Damping Control (DDC), a gear shift aid, heated grips and LED indicators to an already extensive set of electronic systems.

As standard, the S 1000 RR comes with a semi-active suspension system and BMW’s most advanced traction control system, says the brand.

Ian Furse, National Sales Manager for BMW Motorrad UK, said: “The all-new 2015 BMW S 1000 RR has set another benchmark for supersport motorcycles.

“With more advanced rider aids than ever before, the new RR is the pinnacle of sports motorcycle development.”

As well as a comprehensive list of electronic systems and controls, the S 1000 RR also has a wide range of customisable options for riders to choose from.

There are Forged Wheels, different paintjobs and accessories including additional luggage and screen options, sports silencers and carbon fibre options, too.

The S 1000 RR was first unveiled last year at the Intermot motorcycle show in Cologne, Germany.

It went on to make further European appearances at EICMA in Milan and at Motorcycle Live in the UK. In Milan, the RR was joined by the XR model on stage.
