Honda has revealed its new X-ADV, an Adventure Scooter based on the City Adventure concept from 2015.

It will get its official unveiling at this year’s EICMA show in Milan when full specifications will also be revealed.

At the moment, we know it’s going to be powered by the 745cc twin engine from the NC750, while the Japanese manufacturer has also confirmed that it will come with a Dual Clutch Transmission.

The X-ADV is a scooter designed to cope with urban commuting and longer rides at the weekend.

As such it comes with an upright riding position and long travel suspension to help it cope with rougher terrain.

A 5-stage adjustable windscreen is at the front of the scooter while there’s plenty of storage space at the rear to fit an off-road helmet.

Honda will hope the X-ADV experiences the same success as the PCX 125, one of the UK’s bestselling scooters.

The X-ADV will go on stage at the EICMA show from 8 November before it reaches dealerships around Europe in 2017.
