Prices for the new Suzuki GSX-S1000 line-up have been revealed ahead of its official launch.

The range kicks off with the GSX-R1000 priced from £8,999 for the street bike.

An ABS version of the GSX-S1000 will cost £9,499 when it arrives in UK dealers from June.

The GSX range tops out at £9,999 for the GSX-S1000FA that adds a new ‘aggressively-styled fairing’ to the ABS option, says Suzuki.

GSX is a famous moniker in motorbikes and the latest version comes with an all-new lightweight frame as well as an updated version of the engine found in the GSX-R1000 K5.

There’s new aluminium housing for the engine as well as Brembo monobloc brake callipers.

Rob Cooper, Suzuki GB Marketing Manager, said: “The GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000FA both offer an exciting package, with new chassis components all wrapped around a popular, proven engine.

“We’re also confident that both models will be highly competitive against other bikes in this sector of the market in terms of both spec and price.”

Anyone interested in the new GSX can register their interest for test rides on Suzuki’s site.
