Triumph has revealed two new Tiger 800s to expand its current line-up to six models.

The new Tiger 800 XRT and XCA will sit at the top of the range thanks to the addition of larger capacity alternators to power an expanded set of rider comfort accessories.

According to the British manufacturer, the new models are identical to the flagship Tiger 800 XRX and XCX models, except for the new alternator and accessories which include heated rider and passenger seats, heated grips, LED fog lights and a GPS system as standard.

The XRT is a road-focused model while the XCA is more capable off-road and new colour options have been added to the range to emphasise that.

A Matt Khaki Green paintjob has been added to the XCA’s list of options with Intense Orange thrown into the mix for the XRT.

Despite differences in design and off-road capability, both motorcycles share the same 94hp 800cc engine and are available with Triumph’s Expedition aluminium pannier set-up.

It’s the latest addition to the Donington-based manufacturer’s Tiger range after four new versions of the Triumph Tiger 800 model were rolled out at the EICMA show in Milan last November.

Since then, Triumph has also released the Tiger Explorer XC Special Edition in February.
