Triumph Tiger Explorer specs revealed
Triumph has released specification details about its latest Tiger Explorer, set for launch in the next few weeks.
It comes almost exactly one year after the XC, XCx, XCa, XR, XRx and XRt joined the Tiger 800 range, but this time the specs will share a 1,215cc engine.
According to the British manufacturer that new engine generates almost 91lb-ft of torque at around 6,000 revs but it’s also five per cent more fuel efficient than its predecessor.
They’re impressive figures from Triumph and the new specification levels also bring with them a jump in features and technology onboard the three-cylinder engine bike.
ABS, traction control and five riding modes are shared across all variants but the amount of gear on the bike grows as you head up the specification range to the XCA and XRT at the top of the line-up.
Both versions add features including heated seats, Hill Hold Control an electronically adjustable Touring screen to the standard equipment lists of the XRx and XCx.
They’ll also come with a low seat option.
Triumph is yet to reveal pricing details for its new Tigers however you can expect to hear something soon.
