Bike Tours for the Wounded Royal Chelsea Hospital Ride Out
The Bike Insurer was at the Royal Chelsea Hospital in London on Sunday where a special ride out organised by Bike Tours for the Wounded (BTWW) took place.
Bikers assembled at a service station on the M4 before travelling to the hospital, where the Chelsea pensioners welcomed them in their iconic red coats.
BTWW arrange bike tours for injured service personnel in a bid to help them rehabilitate through experiencing the open road and last weekend’s event was just the latest in a long line of fundraising activities organised by the charity.
Some bikers had made the journey from as far afield as Manchester and Devon, paying £20 for the privilege, of which £5 was donated to the Royal Chelsea Hospital and the remainder to BTWW.
