Round 8 - Magny Cours
Recently crowned 2015 title winner Javier Orellana finished of the season on a high as the champion won the final race of the PATA European Junior Cup, supported by The Bike Insurer after a last-lap sprint to edge out French riders Dorian Laville and pole-setter Guillaume Raymond. Emanuele Pusceddu, Paolo Grassia and Mika Perez were also in contention for honours for the majority of the race, eventually finishing in fourth, fifth and sixth place respectively. Brit Josh Harland was battling for 1st place and indeed led the race for a while before having to retire from the lead batle with mechanical issues, top Brit today was Stefan \’The Model\’ Hill coming home in a fatastic Seventh place behind Mika Perez, Sam Wilford crossed the line in Tenth place and our Man Dan \’the tan\’ Drayton suffered a fall on the last lap, after a High Side in the rain during Q2 and a DNF today in the race, our man Dan will be looking to get back on the 650f over the winter and be hoping to make a good challenge in the EJC in 2016.
Women’s Cup winner Avalon Biddle was once again ahead of the other female racers in nineteenth, ahead of Spain’s Laura Rodriguez.
