2017 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade walk around

The Fireblade name is a famous one in motorbikes and the iconic Honda has been revamped for 2017.

We visited ART Rider Training, who were provided with the Fireblade by Belle Vue Honda in Southend, along with lots of other customers to check out the latest CBR1000RR from the Japanese manufacturer.

The latest blade is typically stunning but it’s the tech on board that makes the Super Sport bike really stand out.

There are three selectable riding modes, which allow riders to select the most suitable riding mode based on road conditions at the flick of a switch.

On top of that there’s lean sensitive traction control, engine brake assist and cornering ABS, along with wheelie control and a new full colour LCD screen.

It’s a comprehensive offering from Honda, which goes some way to justifying the £20,000 list price for the range-topping SP model, which adds a semi-active suspension setup to the standard model in the video above, which costs just over £15,000.
