Beginners go Trials riding at Inch Perfect

A couple of months ago, The Bike Insurer took its staff to Inch Perfect Trials in Lancashire to get a taste of Trials riding.

Trials riding is a specialist form of motorcycling where the aim is to complete an obstacle course without touching the ground with their feet.

It’s a difficult discipline and one that pro-riders from lots of other styles of biking use to hone their skills, so it made perfect sense to throw a load of beginners in at the deep end to see how they’d get on, on potentially the hottest day of the year.

After six hours of blood, sweat, some tears, multiple offs and two cracked ribs, everyone at The Bike Insurer was convinced that Trials riding was tough but rewarding. So much so that lots of us have been back since.
