GetOn motorcycling at Rockingham is a motorcycling initiative designed to encourage newbies and newcomers to get on a bike for the first time.

Backed by the Motorcycle Industry Association, GetOn allows anyone to get behind the handlebars, whether they’ve got a provisional driving licence, a full driving licence or no driving licence at all.

The aim, as you might expect, is to get more people on the road on two wheels and the event at Rockingham on Saturday was the perfect showcase for it with the inexperienced, the returning and complete newcomers all on track to learn more about the initiative.

We spoke to Mike Loydell, Operations and Training Director for GetOn, who was on hand to lead the day.
