The Bike Insurer at the PLOP Enduro

On Saturday 4 July, Anglesey played host to the second instalment of the PLOP Enduro this year.

The Bike Insurer turned up with an all-star team handpicked from the World Superbike paddock and the UK racing scene with Charley Oakland, Josh Harland and Lewis Osler all riding alongside Phil Wilding.

With a brand new Honda C90 in The Bike Insurer colours, the team was confident it could challenge at the top of the leaderboard.

Strong riding put The Bike Insurer into the mix however a couple of three minute penalties and mechanical issues saw the team end in 12th, a PLOP high for The Bike Insurer.

On the day, Mercury Racing took the title after finishing five laps ahead of second placed Yellow Peril. Team Druids ended the day in third.

The Bike Insurer’s sister team, The Van Insurer, finished slightly less favourably, propping up the table in second to last after ending the day early due to an engine failure. Then another engine failure after an engine rebuild.

Another excellent day from the S&D Armada and Anglesey Circuit.
