VIDEO: British Minibikes 2017

After just two years in existence, the British Minibikes Championship has grown from small amateur-run race to a National Championship boasting over 225 entries per round.

Run by owner and Race Director Alan Lord, the series offers the opportunity for both experienced racers and novices of any age to get behind the handlebars and take part in one of Britains biggest championships.

Despite riders of all ages being welcomed into the competition, it’s the ‘Bambino’ class that has us all talking at the Whilton Mill Circuit last weekend.

Children as young as six race around the circuit on a 90cc semi automatic bike, a mix between a pit bike and a supermoto.

We spoke to Alan Lord to find out more about the British Minibikes Championship and how to enter.
