Why Choose a Baotian Motorbike?

Baotian scooters embody a mix of functional design and aesthetic quality- and it seems they have become a firm favourite on the UK scooter market.

Chinese manufacturer, The Jiangmen Sino – Hong Kong Baotian Motorcycle Industrial Company, was established in 1994 and produces 49cc, 125cc and 150cc models of over 80 kinds of motorcycles, scooters, quads and dirt bikes.

Baotian UK has been operating since 2005 and has been sole distributor of the brand since 2007, which is now widely distributed through a network of motorcycle and scooter dealerships.

Since its import into the UK, the Baotian 50cc scooter has consistently topped the sales chart and, according to industry statistics, the Baotian BT49QT-9 was third best-selling moped scooter of 2007. The Bike Insurer can compare quotes to find you a great deal on your scooter insurance, whatever model Baotian scooter or moped you own.

If you’re not sure about the Baotian brand, you can read our real owner reviews below to see what it’s like to live with Baotian scooters everyday.

Well, my first experience ma ride from Lincolne, to Erith in Kent. I was really suprised at the bike performance, I am smooth rider and she wasvery good on the Hills, in traffic no problem! iN THE BUS LANE'S MAGIC THROUGH LONDON OVER TOWER BRIDGE REALLY GREAT ALL THE WAY, USED ABOUT A GALLON OF PETROL.

i AM USED TO RIDING ON LOOSE METAL ROAD NO SURFACE, SO AM USED TO PUTTING BIKE DOWN ON A SLIDE 500CC TWIN, BEFORE STARTING OFF AGAIN!

I found it a great big little scooter and good on the Gas too!, it only had 5,700mile on the clock when I bought it!

Good biking,

Cheers from a real Biker

Very comfortable ride, very fuel efficient. Took a while to "break in" meaning starting it at the beginning was a challenge, and always requires a twits of the throttle to start it up whereas with some bike you only have to use the started button. However on the flip side of this, the bike is very good at starting in cold weather with little struggle needed on the most icey of days.
Great bike for a less confident/new rider due to reliability, ease of handling and twist and go drive method, but very enjoyable to take out for a ride for anyone (it helps you don't have to worry about your fuel expenditure). Personally now I seak a bigger model just to make long business commutes a bit faster as the bike doesn't go 60+ meaning you can't make up for lost time if running a little late

Overall great first bike, very pleased.
