Why choose Honda?

The Bike Insurer provides more insurance quotes for Honda than any other motorbike manufacturer in the UK.

That’s hardly surprising given that the Japanese manufacturer is also the bestselling manufacturer on British soil, too.

Why does Honda dominate?

One of the main reasons for Honda’s success is its wide and varied model line-up. It doesn’t just focus on small capacity scooters or rapid sports bikes, it does a little bit of everything.

From adventure bikes to tourers and 125s to super bikes, Honda does it all and does it all quite well.

How to get Honda motorcycle insurance quotes

If you own a Honda you can compare insurance quotes for the bestselling brand on The Bike Insurer.

And if you’re thinking about buying a Honda, you can view our Honda reviews and see how much your insurance will cost when you get around to buying your new bike.

Honda CBR 1100 XX SUPER BLACKBIRD
Just a fantastic bike - Honda were IDIOTS to stop making it, as the used values are still really solid. Comfy, reliable, fast, and has never once let me down in 12 years. This is a very comfortable and versatile bike. great for commuting, great for days ride out and a brilliant comfortable tourer with plenty luggage space. The build quality is typical Honda its very good I have had no problems at all and very pleased with the bile.

In terms of value for money there are dearer and cheaper options. I picked the bike because it suited the ride style and quality of build I was looking for.

I tried a number of different bikes and found the bike fast but very easy to ride, it has a number of gadgets based on recent upgrades. The important thing for me was it was an all rounder and met the different types of use I wanted to from the bike for commuting, long days ride in the Scottish Highlands and European tours. It does them all very well.

the height of the bike is just right for anyone over 5ft 6" allowing the feet to reach the ground.
fuel consumption is average about 60 to the gallon.
over trips of 200-300 miles the seating is comfortable.
being a 5ft 10" 77 year old I find the handle bars and reach just right.
the value for money is very good but for a little more they could have fitted a gear indicator.although a lot of people say you don't need this I find that the one I have fitted comes in very handy stops you going for another gear that is not there.
build quality for the price of the bike is good I have had the bike for 15 months and no sign of any rust or corrosion.
i am unable to compere the bike as all my previous bikes have mostly been 750cc or more.
instrument display is excellent but i do find the reset buttons difficult with gloves on.

I have not ridden a motorcycle for over 20 years so decided it was time to get myself back on 2 wheels. I wanted a tourer not over powered but as my confidence grows able to take me where I want at legal limits and comfy with a little presence Well the Deauville has certainly gained my respect and praise. For me It handles well has ample power and over the last few months I have owned it has allowed me to gain vital experience and confidence enabling me to ride from Norfolk to Guernsey and back to visit a close friend and have my first adventure. The trip covered motorways fast A roads and on my return trip lots and lots of minor roads. I found at night the headlights were superb and having 2 fitted extra daytime riding lights is a must for safety. Brill bike........
